I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, somatic psychotherapy, polyvagal theory, and attachment theory. I specialize in working with adults struggling with anxiety, worry, stress, depression, mood disorders, and nervous system regulation, trauma survivors, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those experiencing grief and loss. I especially love working with parents, those in the midst of life transitions, identity exploration and development, spiritual and existential concerns, and ecological anxiety and grief. My approach to therapy is collaborative, holistic, and compassionate. I believe we’re all whole and naturally seek balance. Unfortunately, emotional wounds, traumas, and illness can leave us feeling fragmented and disconnected. My role is to help you uncover your wholeness so you can tap into your inherent wisdom and healing capacity. We’ll do this by bringing kind attention to your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. Together, we’ll learn about your unique system by getting to know the parts of you that might be wounded or stuck. We’ll discover what heals and nourishes your whole being. And once we’re able to understand and appreciate all parts of ourselves, we can be more compassionate and understanding towards others as well. We trust that we can have healthy boundaries in all of our relationships. I'm a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington State, with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. I also have a Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from St. Catherine University, and a Bachelor's in English from the University of Minnesota. www.tiffanybiljumtherapy.com
