Looking back, I think I was always a therapist. Growing up, I was the one my friends and family members turned to when they needed advice or simply to talk about a problem. Even during my career in marketing and communications, the responsibilities I enjoyed most were supporting and encouraging the members of my team. Eventually, I made it official and went back to school to study counseling. Today, I am a psychotherapist and coach. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and hold master’s degrees in counseling, divinity and business. I am passionate about helping individuals heal from anxiety and depression, as well as racial and identity-based trauma to lead healthy, grounded and more fulfilled lives.
