Introduction

*I have no current openings for new clients. Waitlist available.* Do you find that life is constantly changing outside of your control and it is becoming more difficult to cope, much less thrive? Do you ever notice a disconnect between how others see you and what you are constantly managing inside of yourself? Do you feel guilty for not being able to be present with your loved ones like you want to? Maybe you have a history of trauma that makes the current difficulties more complicated. You might feel that you are constantly reliving your trauma in present day struggles. Do you find yourself clashing with your environment and internally struggling with your faith? The methods you used to get through difficulties in the past no longer work or may have never worked? Whether you are military or civilian, it is possible to find greater clarity. Discover new strengths to help you work through this unique time in your life. For active service members or veterans it is possible to fit your militaristic culture to culture with the other demands of everyday life. For Christians, to grow in unity between your faith and daily demands. Traumatic events can never be forgotten since our bodies and minds were not made to forget, but you don't have to be controlled by them. Therapy can help create connection between your internal self and external reality, to provide unity between faith, viewpoint and self. It can strengthen skills helpful for facing life's uncertainties, easing tension, focusing your mind, and quieting the emotions that feel uncontrollably loud. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselor in the states of Texas and Oklahoma. My foundation in Biblical Studies, certifications as a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist and Certified Trauma Professional, First Responder Counselor, training in EMDR, growing up in the first responder family, experience treating and living within the military community combine to provide a comprehensive approach to trauma through experienced understanding of living within first responder, military and Christian communities. I am a Board Certified - Telemental Health counselor and ensure secure, video counseling services. It would be a privilege to walk together with you towards freedom and healing.
