Introduction

I provide individual and couple's counseling to those who are often in the middle of or trying to get over (recent or long past) some of the worst experiences of their lives. I help my clients discover or re-discover their self worth and value, self-love and power. Often they have been betrayed, traumatized, abused, dumped, hurt, used, gaslighted, discarded, etc. Sometimes with couples it was one of the spouses who did these things and whether couples decide to stay together or end a relationship, I help them with this process. For working with individuals I am EMDR certified, use Internal Family Systems Therapy and use trauma informed somatic and neuroscience based interventions. For working with couples I am Level 1 Gottman Certified and have been trained in EFT and IFS, and have been supervised by an excellent Family Systems therapist. I am a second generation Latina, can speak Spanish and can often relate and love helping clients looking for someone with multicultural experience. I also have 4 years of experience assessing clients for immigration hardship, VAWA and U-Visa cases.
