Introduction

Beginning in early childhood and as we continue to grow up in society, we are given information about ourselves, our worth, and the world around us.  I see this process as fluid. Oftentimes this information creates beliefs about ourselves that is inherently distorted and limiting.  I believe people have the answers within them but when racing with blinders on they are unable to take proper stock of what is going on internally and externally.  I believe in whole-istic approaches. Each person is a multifaceted individual made up and influenced by a variety of factors that need to be looked at and worked on from both a macro and micro level, both inside out and outside in.  This process is also fluid. I see therapy as a space that holds you with caring, safety, and respect so that you can reevaluate these "truths" that are distorted, limiting, and inherently damaging.  In this space, you have the opportunity to reexamine this old information, explore, and create new "truths" that allow you to learn, to grow, and to heal.  I see my role as a therapist as one that is a grounded companion on my client's journey of self-exploration to healing. I will hold a mirror so over time you can see your true precious self. While I work with people struggling with a variety of concerns, my niches are trauma, grief and disability, early development, neurodevelopmental differences, and parenting. My trauma work includes working with somatic, dissociative, psychotic, and personality disorders. I utilize a perspective I refer to as Trauma Prrrr (Trauma prevention, resilience, resistance, recovery, and regrowth.) Tiffany Ware is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma, where she has been providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, behavioral health rehabilitation, case management, and consultations for the past 9 years. Tiffany Ware has 34 years of experience working with human and animal behavior, communication, and development. While she works with people struggling with a variety of concerns, her niches are trauma, grief, changes in abilities and disability, early development, neurological differences, and parenting. As someone who has travelled a lot and made memories with many people, Tiffany Ware understands and appreciates diversity. In the context of race, ethnicity, nationality, age, gender, diverse abilities, religion or non-religious, socioeconomic status, neurodiversity, and sexual orientation, your unique culture and worldview will be respected. Primarily Private/Self Pay. To help prevent finances from interfering with getting treatment, options are available on an individual basis (AIB). Sliding scale fees are based on income, if needed, ask about these limited spots during free consultation. Coaching and consultation prices vary based on circumstances and specific needs. It is important that you’re an informed consumer. This allows you to take charge regarding your health and medical record. Why Clinicians Do Not Take Insurance/Why Clients Choose Not To Use Insurance: These involve enhanced quality of care and other advantages: 1. You are in control of your care, including choosing your therapist, length of treatment, etc. 2. Increased privacy and confidentiality (except for limits of confidentiality). 3. Not being required to have a mental health disorder diagnosis on your medical record in order to receive services. At times, having a diagnosis can be helpful (ie: child needing extra services in the school system or a person being able to receive disability). 4. Consulting with me on non-psychiatric issues that are important to you that aren’t billable by insurance, such as learning how to cope with life changes, gaining more effective communication techniques for your relationships, increasing personal insight, and developing healthy new skills. 4. Your provider spends more of their focus on and time with you, instead of your insurance company.
