My name is Timothy C. Evans. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Addiction Counselor in the states of Pennsylvania and Texas with 36 years of practice. In 2010 my practice was moved to State College, Pennsylvania, from the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area to be closer to my family. I am Pennsylvania native. I received my Master of Divinity in 1983 from Oral Roberts University School of Theology in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My postgraduate work was completed at Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School in Ft. Worth, Texas. Later, I received my Masters of Science in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University: Commerce, Texas in 1987. Additional credentials: National Certified Counselor, National Certified Addiction Counselor II, Master Addiction Counselor, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor My residency was completed at the Baylor University Medical Center in Clinical Pastoral Education. I was a former president of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter and State Board Member of the Christian Counselors of Texas. My practice provides family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy with a sensitivity to Faith Based issues. Also can provide Tele-therapy in Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas.
