Welcome! I’m Timothy Shin, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. With experience in community mental health, and hospital settings, I specialize in working with adults facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. My approach is person-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) coping skills. Additionally, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support healing from trauma. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered and confident throughout your therapy journey. If you’re looking for guidance and support, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to build a path toward healing and well-being.
