Let’s face it, life can be challenging for all of us. I am here to help and support you through your unique individual challenges that you are currently experiencing. In addition to processing your experiences in therapy sessions, I will also help teach you valuable tools. If applicable to you we can also address emotional regulation so that you are able to handle your current and future challenges in a more healthy manner. Some of these tools include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, grounding techniques, and specific psycho-educational materials for whatever particular issue we are addressing in therapy together. If you desire counseling from a Christian perspective, for Christian principles to be incorporated into your therapy, or for issues of faith to be discussed in therapy I am able to offer this as well at your request. In my career I have worked with clients from all ages and walks of life. I have worked in residential facilities, at a hospital in-patient program, and in the outpatient therapy setting. Going to therapy is an investment in many ways. It takes time and also may require some “work” on your part. It is often said with therapy that “what you put into it is what you will get out of it”. Many people fear disclosing things to a therapist. Maybe there are things you have never shared with anyone before that you feel you need to “get off your chest”. The process of healing and growth can be difficult, but change is possible. You do not have to stay stuck where you are and it would be an honor for me to help support you in taking the steps on your journey to growth and making positive changes in your life. For many, therapy is a financial investment as well. At this time, I am not able to accept insurance. My rate is $120 for each therapy hour session (approximately 50 minutes). Credit card, cash, or checks are accepted forms of payment. https://covemountaincounseling.com/tina-brown/
