Hello! My name is Tina Kenney; as a Licensed Counselor (LPCC-S) I am here to support you through whatever journey life has brought you on and help you achieve your goals. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate and nonjudgmental space for you to work collaboratively as we explore and process thoughts, feelings and behaviors to allow you to heal and live your best life. I have a strength-based, solution-focused and person-centered approach. Having over 20 years of experience I make use of different evidenced-based interventions such as: CBT, TFCBT, mindfulness, family systems and motivational interviewing. I am also a trauma informed therapist trained in EMDR and LGBTQ allied. I can help you navigate and overcome challenges related to depression, anxiety disorders, various life adjustments, anger, trauma & PTSD, marriage & family stressors; providing services to individuals and couples. It can be hard to ask for help and I want to guide and empower you to reach your full potential. I obtained a Master’s of Arts from The University of Akron and an Undergraduate degree in psychology from Cleveland State University. I look forward to working with you.
