Hey! I’m Tori, and I am dedicated to helping Gen-Z Black women, especially those ages 21 to 26, find the freedom to be their true selves. If you’re tired of feeling like you have to hide parts of who you are, and it’s starting to wear you down, I get it. Together, we can break down those walls and help you discover the power of setting boundaries, embracing your identity, and finding your voice. My passion is working with women dealing with attachment issues that cause tension in relationships or who are navigating the painful effects of religious trauma, such as shame, guilt, or isolation. In our time together, you’ll learn how liberating it can be to set boundaries, voice your needs, and reclaim your sense of self. Over time, clients I work with experience less anxiety and depression, grow in their confidence, and find renewed strength in their identity as Black women. This growth often brings more ease in social situations, stronger relationships, and a positive shift in how they feel about themselves. We’ll meet weekly in a space that’s safe and supportive, where it’s okay to let out your fears and frustrations without feeling like a burden. My approach is flexible and combines Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy—so we have a toolkit to draw from that suits your needs. Mindfulness is a big part of my work, and I often incorporate breathing exercises, meditation, and journaling to bring you back to the present moment and ground you in who you truly are. Therapy with me is all about collaboration and growth. You’ll have at-home exercises to help you go deeper, like journaling and reflection activities, that help you gain insight, set goals, and make decisions with confidence. My goal is to support you in a way that feels empowering, helping you cultivate self-awareness, and ultimately, a stronger, truer sense of identity.
