Hello! I‘m Towania Caldwell and I am proud to be one of the newest therapists here at Greater Vision! I am a 22 year veteran of the US Air Force. I retired as an E7/Master Sergeant and First Sergeant. My experience, working with airman and their families in crisis, led me to the field of mental health. While on active duty, I obtained a BS in Social Psychology from Park University. I then went onto complete my first masters degree, a MA in Human Services with the concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy with Liberty University. I then completed my most recent masters, a MA in Clinical Mental Health with Liberty University in December 2022. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Human Services Board Certified Practitioner (HSBCP). I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, but moved to the Fayetteville area in 2018. I am divorced with no children. However; I do have a fur baby, a Morkie named Bella, who is the love of my life. I enjoy working with teens and adults. I enjoy creating a safe space, free from judgment, shame, and guilt where clients can express themselves and overcome barriers that may be keeping them from being the best version of themselves. My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Eclectic. I am a trauma informed therapist, and enjoy working with those clients who may have experienced traumatic events. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive, Behavioral Therapy (TF-CPT). My goal for my clients is to help them become the best version of themselves using empathy and unconditional positive regard to build positive coping skills, self awareness, and healthy emotional balance.
