Making the choice to engage in therapy is a significant and very personal decision, and I believe that interpersonal chemistry with your therapist is essential. As a therapist my stance is collaborative. I have a flexible style that takes into account the goals of the individual as well as external factors that impact each of us in our search for meaning and purpose. I integrate a range of clinical perspectives into the work depending on the unique needs of each client. I specialize in providing psychotherapy to adults and young adults addressing a broad range of concerns including depression, recovery from trauma, developmental concerns related to life transitions, coping with changes in personal identity such as the coming out process, issues related to parenting, relationship concerns, and improving emotional regulation. As a therapist I integrate a range of perspectives into the work, centered around a collaborative style. For some clients, therapy focuses on external factors such as adjustment to parenthood or college, and for other clients, the work of therapy is an intrapersonal process centering on skill development such as emotional regulation or coping strategies.
