It takes bravery to share your story. My goal is to create a compassionate and empathetic environment where you can freely explore the root causes of your suffering, cultivate self-acceptance, and seek wholeness over perfection. Allowing yourself to be truly seen can bring about a wonderful and powerful sense of awareness. Often, your life may look and feel “normal,” but there can be aspects of yourself or your experiences that you may not fully understand. Letting go of what no longer serves you can help you build your capacity to be present and navigate life’s challenges. My approach to healing is holistic, emphasizing the deep connection between mind and body. I honor where each client is on their journey and support them in developing the awareness and skills needed to recognize the sources of their suffering. By gaining this understanding, clients are empowered with tangible tools to navigate life in a more authentic way, fostering growth, self-compassion, and resilience. My approach is also integrative, combining multiple perspectives and techniques to support holistic healing. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, self-compassion, trauma-focused approaches, inner child techniques, and somatic therapy. Mind-body approaches, such as Integral Somatic Psychology, help clients fully embody their emotions through mindfulness, body-based exercises, and other physical techniques. My aim is to provide a tailored and comprehensive path to healing that addresses each client’s unique needs. My role is to guide my clients in developing self-awareness, self-compassion, physical awareness, self-regulation skills, and emotional embodiment. Why focus on emotions? Research shows that emotions shape our thoughts and behaviors in every moment. By cultivating the capacity to be present with our emotions, we can see significant improvements in how we think, act, and respond to life’s challenges. This emotional awareness helps reduce reactivity and promotes more mindful, intentional living.
