Introduction

As a family member of loved ones who have struggled with addiction, my journey to understand, support, and heal has influenced my decision to specialize my education and training as a licensed counselor in addiction. Together we will embark on a journey to bring insight into the true function of substance use and begin the healing process for underlying emotional pain or issues, improve understanding of co-occurring mental health symptoms and how these contribute to use, and develop effective coping skills for maintaining recovery or achieving your goals. If you are struggling to cope with a family member/loved one's addiction, I offer services focused on developing healthy coping skills, education about addiction, and exploring the impact of addiction on the family system to support your own recovery.
