You are the expert on your own life; this principle is the foundation of my counseling relationships. My therapeutic style is warm, client-centered, and practical. I aim to provide a caring, responsive, and safe space, allowing my clients to engage in self-exploration and growth. I enjoy working with people to help them understand and become the best version of themselves. Life is full of transitions, at every age and every stage. I often help clients with issues related to adapting to change, breaking ineffective habits, personal and professional development, family dynamics, healthy lifestyle choices, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and relationships. My counseling approach has influences from Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Motivational Interviewing practices. I put emphasis on my client’s phenomenological world, or world as you experience it. As a professional, I can relate to the distinct needs and challenges that millennials face regarding navigating transitions, negotiating relationships, goal setting, and career and personal development. That understanding, combined with my professional training, allows me to connect with clients to help them reach their goals and make profound changes in their lives. I am passionate about helping children and adolescents overcome their unique age-specific challenges. Working empathically with individuals and families, we uncover patterns that aren’t working and replace them with more effective behaviors. In essence, I help young people harness their personal strengths and potentials to perform at their best. By establishing open, responsive dialogue, we create a space for you to consider and make significant changes that benefit your life, on your terms.
