I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology & certification in Integrative Medicine for Mental Health. When sitting down with my clients I not only spend time processing their situation, but also paying special attention to their sleep, nutrition, physical movement, spirituality and social supports as a way to achieve a better quality of life. I have been counseling clients for about 20 years, spending the first 12yrs of my career focusing on supporting children & their families. As a foster parent for the last decade, I personally appreciate the joy & stress that parenting can bring, as well as how trauma experienced at anytime during the lifespan can create lasting struggles for adults that have had difficult childhoods. I currently am able to provide in-person sessions in Illinois from my NW Suburban Chicago office.
