We all encounter moments in our lives when our usual coping strategies, rhythms, and ways of relating to others are no longer bringing relief and contentment. Sometimes, these moments can stretch into weeks or even months. That’s when counseling can be helpful. Understanding the root of your struggles and pursuing health is worth the time and effort it requires. Busyness and distraction won’t bring about the deeper changes we desire, but even the smallest acts of intentionality can make a lasting difference. I work with individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (intrusive thoughts, reassurance seeking, 'Pure O', rumination, rituals), anxiety, perfectionism, panic, trauma, PTSD, depression, pornography, screen addiction, relational conflict, social skills, bullying, and feelings that they are finding difficult to understand or tolerate. Appointments can be scheduled via my website. Contact me with any questions or to inquire about additional availability. In my counseling approach, I incorporate my personal experiences as a husband and father and I connect clients with local resources. I counsel at a Christian counseling center where I work with clients from all backgrounds and religions.
