I have ten years of experience working with individuals and couples in a variety of contexts. I completed my PsyD at Pace University, my internship at Jamaica Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry, and I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Ellis Psychology. I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, community centers, inpatient and outpatient practices before opening my own practice in 2022. I specialize in relational psychodynamic therapy, using an attachment-based approach to treat anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues and struggles with intimacy. I use a person-centered approach to help clients reach clarity within themselves about their motivations and inner conflicts. I hope my clients gain the sense that they're not alone, that they can take care of themselves, and that they are motivated enough to do so. There are different levels to therapeutic work, and I individualize my approach to the level that matches each client based on their specific goals.
