Introduction

Hello there. My name is Val (they/them) and I started this journey into providing mental health services with my own healing as a teenager. It was a school therapist that made a monumental difference in my life; so when it came time to choose how I would use my life's time it was obvious that I wanted to be for others what my therapist was for me: hope, guidance, support, safety, etc. I work with ages from 11 and up. I offer individual, couples/relationship sessions, and various forms of family sessions. I can provide weekly or bi weekly appointments both as standard sessions or in extended sessions. I provide telehealth services to anyone in any part of California or Michigan and accept payment via all major credit/debit/HSA/FSA card(s). In my practice I specialize in a couple of areas, however I also provide general mental health services in other areas as well. This is to say, just because I may not specialize in a particular issue, does not necessarily mean that I am not able to help you with that issue. My specialties include Anxiety and Anxiety based disorders/issues, sexual and/or gender identities, polyamorous and other non monogamous relationship structures, and kink involvement. You will find that my therapy style is person-centered and relational. Meaning that above all, I always let you lead our sessions so that you are getting what you need out of every session. I look forward to working together.
