Introduction

Hey there! I'm Valerie. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in helping couples reconnect, repair, and rebuild their relationships into more joyful and secure bonds. In short, I help couples work through their tough seasons. Maybe you are struggling with feeling lonely and misunderstood in your relationship. You're tired of the same argument that keeps happening over and over again. You feel like you don't know how to get through to your partner. If only your partner would turn towards you more often, you could go back to feeling like a team. Or maybe you're just exhausted and even a little bit nervous about the idea of couples therapy. You're tired of feeling like you can never do anything right in your relationship and you're worried that couples therapy may make you feel even worse about things. You've tried different approaches in the past and anything you do seems to only make things worse. You don't know where to start or what questions to ask. For the last four years, I have worked with many couples struggling with issues just like these. I've guided them to find healthier paths forward. Using evidenced-based, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, we can work together and begin that journey today.
