My background includes experience in teaching and working with children, assessing their needs, and providing relevant support. This experience has fueled my pursuit of a career in mental health counseling. I have experience working in a school setting, providing inclusive care tailored to individual needs. I am passionate about working with clients dealing with anxiety, trauma, depression, behavior issues, grief, and cognitive challenges. I am open to working with adults, older adults, and adolescents. My approach to therapy centers around cognitive therapy, psychoanalysis, and psychodynamic therapies. Additionally, I incorporate humanistic methods, such as gestalt therapy, mindfulness techniques, art therapy, and guided imagery. I aim to utilize empathy, compassion, and effective listening skills in every session. I strive to bring patience, understanding, open-mindedness, and cultural sensitivity while maintaining professionalism, ethics, and trustworthiness. My ultimate goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel empowered to address their challenges. It is my desire to help individuals experience comfort, value, and support without judgment. I also encourage their active involvement in their healing and growth. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy writing stories, poetry, drawing, painting, reading, journaling, traveling, and baking. Let's work together if you're ready to embark on a journey toward improved well-being and personal growth through therapy!
