Venita is a masters level, prelicensed therapist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She draws from approaches including person-centered, solution-focused, strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness theories. Venita believes in honoring the unique backgrounds of the individual and their lived experiences, utilizing an integrated approach where the individual is seen as a whole. Venita works with young adults, college students, adults, and elders. Venita enjoys working with clients experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression as they navigate through life transitions, meaning-making after change, parenting issues, self-esteem issues, grief, and relationship challenges.
