I work primarily with adults ages 19 to 60 who find themselves feeling stuck, overburdened or over-worried, or simply unable to see the sunny bits of life peeking through the tightly drawn shades. To be human is to experience pain, and sometimes what we need is someone to sit with us, to hold space for that pain, and to slowly help us get back to feeling just a tiny bit lighter. My approach to therapy is grounded in a strengths-based, client-centered philosophy and combines trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy with solution-focused and values-driven techniques and interventions. I will provide a safe and welcoming space where you can feel free to be yourself and to tell your story. I'll help you find strength to confront your challenges and provide you with the skills you need to see things from a different perspective.
