I work with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, and major life transitions. I understand that pain has a way of separating us from ourselves and others, and I believe that we heal best within relationships. For that reason, I value the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a space where clients can feel truly understood. I offer all clients unconditional positive regard, and firmly believe that even in the most difficult times, all people are doing the best they can with the tools they have. I have specialized training in the Adaptive Internal Relational (AIR) Network Model, a neuroscience-based trauma training to address the ways that past stress impacts our current thoughts and feelings. I also utilize CBT and solutions-focused approaches to support clients in setting their own goals and effectively working towards measurable relief. Sometimes taking the first step can be the hardest part. I hold deep respect and hopefulness for aIl of you as you consider starting or returning to therapy. If you choose to reach out, I will provide a compassionate space for you to explore your needs and address your pain so that you can begin enjoying life.
