I have been a LCSW in the State of Kentucky for 16 years. My experience has been with all age groups for individual, couples, families and substance abuse. I have worked in community mental health, in-patient psychiatry, medical hospital, outpatient medically assisted clinics, primary care offices, in-home therapy, and private practice. I utilize evidence-based practice and therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Therapy, and Dialectal Behavior Therapy. I enjoy meeting new clients and sharing their life experiences. I tend to be relaxed and I have a good sense of humor. I focus on strengths and work to develop healthy coping skills to improve your life. I believe in the power we have to control our own life, day by day. We continue to grow and change with each challenge. Strength, Faith and Courage can give us Hope that things will work out if you trust and believe there’s no limit to what you can accomplish.
