My Story Years ago, my interest in psychology was sparked by a fascination with the complexity of the human mind and the resilience of the human spirit—a perspective shaped by my experiences as a military child. Today, I bring that same passion and curiosity to my practice, with a commitment to understanding you, not just your symptoms. Experience and Credentials I earned a Masters degree from Liberty University in Addiction Counseling. I have been in the mental health world for over 8 years beginning as a behavioral health technician at an inpatient hospital. I work from a client-centered perspective which means, that what you need is what you're going to get out of therapy. While we will have goals set in your treatment plan, we will also take the time to meet you where you are. Life changes fast and if we need to change our approach, we will. These sessions are meant to make you feel supported and heard, always.
