Are you feeling stuck in life and constantly juggling between personal space and various obligations? Do you tend to be hard on yourself and often “take the blame” in relationships? Do you feel the need to be there for others but often forget about yours? Whether you are beginning on therapy journey or continuing on, the growth towards self-understanding and awareness is the first step of healing. My therapeutic approach is warm, non-judgmental and collaborative. My theoretical orientation adopts an integrative approach that incorporates psychodynamic, interpersonal process and mindfulness. I have a solid awareness of harmful impact of systematic oppressions including racism, sexism, homophobia, and xenophobia. As a Taiwanese immigrant and cis-woman of color, I understand the importance of examining intersecting identities and mental health, and I strive to take the social justice oriented approach to work with you from systematic perspective. I have worked in various settings including hospitals, community centers and college counselling centers. I provide bilingual and bicultural treatment. I strongly believe that good therapy begins with a positive therapeutic relationship. And I am honored to be part of your healing journey.
