Introduction

I have worked in the mental health field for 11 years. I have been practicing as a licensed professional counselor for 6 years in a variety of settings. I have a Master of Education with an emphasis in agency counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. I have practiced vocational counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, individual; adults and children, trauma therapy to include TF-CBT, Intensive Outpatient Program groups for adolescents using DBT tools and mindfulness and Accelerated Resolution therapy for individual's experiencing PTSD. I am an Accelerated Resolution trained therapist and trained and certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. I like to take a developmentally sensitive, neurobiologically informed approach to clinical work based on the Neurosequential Model. My goal is to go beyond the therapeutic relationship and assist individuals and families in developing lifelong skills, as well as a strong therapeutic web in their lives. My specialty is age six through adulthood with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotion regulation difficulties.
