My name is Wendy Riggs (she/her pronouns), and I'm a licensed mental health therapist (lpc, lmhc) practicing in Oregon and Washington. I have worked in a variety of settings tending to the care and needs of adults in which I provide trauma-informed supports that allow my client’s to feel seen, heard, and understood. I enjoy working with people as they navigate issues that surround: trauma, depression, anxiety, family systems, and attachment in relationships. My belief is that it’s important for us to learn who we are, and why we do the things that we do. All too often we can feel alone, and isolated in our thoughts and feelings, attempting to navigate our lives feeling as if we are the only one's struggling. In working with my clients, they can expect to experience a therapeutic approach that is collaborative and warm; Engaging and insightful; Supportive and inclusive. In our therapeutic interactions I will draw from a blend of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness.
