My work as a counselor focuses on helping individuals use the strengths they already possess to enact positive change within their lives. I firmly believe that as people, we possess the powers within us to solve almost any problem that life throws at us. Sometimes, as the result of things we encounter in life, be it: trauma, messages learned in childhood, patterns of thought that are no longer needed, grief, or other difficult life experiences, we have trouble finding the path to the answers within us. As a counselor, I feel privileged to help people find the paths to the answers they seek. As a clinician, I place incredible value on the relationships I build with my clients. I have a deep respect for the time and resources you commit to your well-being and honor that investment through the use of evidenced-based techniques. It's important to me that at the end of our time together you are able to walk away feeling like a better you. I want you to know that when you sit down with me, you are welcomed and valued. Counseling, at its best, is a partnership. That partnership is a source of deep satisfaction and enrichment within my life. Within our partnership, it is my desire to pass that satisfaction and enrichment on to you.
