Introduction

My name is Whitney Danz, and I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in mental health work with young children, teens, and young adults, as well as women of all ages. My experience stems from a tribal perspective, and I have worked in school settings, infant and early childhood mental health consultation, systems-building in communities, outpatient clinical practice, and embedding mental health and trauma-informed care into other professional settings. I have worked to create trauma-informed practices in schools and healthcare organizations, and I apply a trauma-sensitive lens to individual work as well.
