Have you ever have felt like you are on the outside watching the world around you, unsure of how to fit into such a confusing place? Unsure if you even want to? I am here for anyone feeling unseen, lost, in need of some self esteem and authenticity support. I supply some tough love TLC with metaphors, humor, fandom references and honesty. You will be in control of your clinical care. When I work with you, it is you who is leading even if it may not feel this way initially. Think of me as the more boundaried and goth Samwise to your Frodo. I offer consultation and clinical supervision. Education/ Specializations: I completed my graduate level studies at Antioch University where I got a masters in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in multicultural considerations and my bachelor's degree at The Evergreen State College where I focused on psychology, identity and sociology (no, I did not major in lesbian dance theory or underwater basket weaving). I am a child mental health specialist (CMHS) and a mental health professional (MHP). As a specialist in trans healthcare, I provide insight and services overall (sessions, letter evals, advocacy). Men's and boys' mental health needs and healing is a passion and is centered in my work with those individuals. I have two level I certifications in specific modalities for trauma work (Sensorimotor and Internal Family Systems). I am a child mental health specialist (CMHS) and a mental health professional (MHP). I offer Telehealth, phone calls and in person sessions at my office in University Place. Masks are required to enter and sit in the lobby as it is a shared space. I have tried to set up an atmosphere to be comfortable and as laid back as possible. Heads up: I do love skulls, horror, humor, and dark stuff. I understand if these things don't feel safe or therapeutic for a lot of folks so please consider your needs (we can also do Telehealth/phone if you prefer to stay away from the witchy office).
