William is a master’s level intern completing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He graduated in 2022 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. William sought out Christian Counseling Services because he believes the positive impact faith can have on a client’s healing journey. William’s goal is to help every client with one’s specific needs towards a successful therapeutic journey and treatment. He is open to working with all demographics and client populations. As a follower of Christ since a young boy, William desires to help everyone from a holistic approach, which considers the mind, body, and soul. William currently serves in the church as a drummer on the worship and praise team. He has been drumming since he was three years old, and has experience performing in jazz bands, marching bands, and indoor drumline at the independent level. William also enjoys hobbies like soccer, baseball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. William is EMDR trained from the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, and is under the direct supervision of Perry Emerick, M.A, LPC, who is an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. William also integrates Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and other interventions as needed which supplement EMDR. William currently works out of the Mesa Baseline office on Mondays and the Gilbert office on Tuesdays (availability of both in-person and telehealth sessions). Other dates may be available upon request. He can be contacted at 480-751-3458 or William@christiancounselingservicesaz.com. His website can be accessed at https://www.williamcounseling.com.
