I believe in the importance of context and collaboration to heal the whole person. My clients find that I am humorous, soft-spoken, and compassionate while working with them in their growth. I am skilled in facilitating a safe, inclusive space where, together, we can explore and examine your concerns in a supportive way in addition to utilizing evidence-based interventions to address them. Jorin Bukosky My clients often appreciate my relaxed, open style and sense of humor. My open-minded, non-judgmental approach is often helpful for those who have been misunderstood or pathologized in life, or in previous experiences with therapy. My clinical work has primarily been focused on the treatment of trauma and insomnia, but I also have experience working with depression, anxiety and life transitions. I have extensive training and experience using EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, as well as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I love using evidence-based therapies, but I’m a strong believer in fitting these therapies to each individual client, not trying to get my clients to fit the therapy. In addition to providing therapy, I am currently an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, providing consultation for clinicians that have completed basic training in EMDR therapy and are looking to hone their skills and obtain hours towards EMDRIA certification.
