I am a Board-Certified Advanced Psychiatric Nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with master’s level academic achievement, and work experience in providing proficient psychiatric assessment, diagnosing, and treating diverse psychiatric disorders across the life span. I have been working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) since June 2021, providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, hospital psychiatric liaison consultation, and providing collaborative care. I have over twenty-five years of psychiatric experience as an RN, managing crises, and caring for clients in both short and long-term care settings. I specialize in treating Depression, Insomnia, Anxiety, Panic disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Trauma-focused treatment, DMDD, Oppositional defiance behavior, conduct behavior, irritability and anger problems, schizophrenia, Substance Abuse, & Dual Diagnosis. Utilizing an evidence-based treatment approach. (medication management and psychotherapy treatment approaches). My goal is to have measurable progress in treatment with positive treatment outcome and supporting clients in attaining necessary tools and coping skills to achieve optimal mental capability and functioning.
