Introduction

“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space, we have the power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom” by Victor E. Frankl. If you find yourself in between and need that space - making sense of different experiences you have had, the story you behold, and navigating life transitions, then I am here to provide that space for you. It may sound daunting for some and totally different for others, and everything in between for a few. Wherever you find yourself on the spectrum, I applaud you for taking the first step in seeking therapy - I see a great advocate for yourself in YOU. I have experience helping both men and women with a variety of concerns: anxiety, family of origin, relationships, marriage, life transitions, adverse childhood experiences, and trauma. I have also worked with survivors of sexual abuse, and I practice my therapy with trauma care. My primary specialty is working with adults who have had these experiences or are currently experiencing them. I am currently in the process of getting EMDR and Gottman Level 1 training. “Life is a JOURNEY, not a destination,” a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. We often hyperfocus on the destination of societal, familial, or personal pressure and expectations. Hence, we miss out on the journey of ‘getting there,’ which is equally important as arriving at the destination. If you would like to work on self-awareness, gain insight into your journey, and seek healing from some of your adverse experiences, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
