I am Yasmine Holbrook a Licensed Clinical Therapist. I have been married for 15 years and blessed with two energetic and adventurous boys. I also struggled with fertility and pregnancy. I had my first child at the age of 36 and it took me 10 years. During those 10 years I dealt with fibroids, failed IUIs, miscarriages, three rounds of IVF, and depression. Looking back at those years I do wish I had the support and tools to deal with some of the emotions and feelings that I experienced. It was a lonely journey even though my husband was right there with me. I do not want you to feel alone through this difficult journey. I am dedicated to empowering women on their journey through infertility, perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, also known as depression. With a wealth of experience in mental health and a deep understanding of the social and cultural factors impacting women's reproductive health, I provide compassionate and culturally competent therapy. Through a strengths-based approach, I help my clients navigate the emotional rollercoaster of infertility and the challenges of postpartum adjustment. I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive space where women feel heard, validated, and empowered to reclaim their mental well-being. I am a proud member of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Through collaboration with other professionals in the field, I advocate for comprehensive, integrated approaches to reproductive health that prioritize mental well-being. I hold a certificate from American Society For Reproductive Medicine -Mental Health Professional. I provide comprehensive assessments to support individuals and couples considering donor transfers. My evaluations are tailored to address the emotional, psychological, and ethical aspects of donor conception, ensuring that all parties involved are well-prepared for the journey ahead.
