Introduction

"Komorebi" is a Japanese term that describes sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees. It symbolizes the act of finding harmony, beauty, and serenity in shadows. I believe in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment for my clients aged 16 and up. My practice is designed to cater to those who seek the highest quality of care. I am dedicated to fostering resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth, empowering clients to develop the skills and insights necessary to lead fulfilling lives. With my 18 years of extensive experience in a variety of clinical settings, including exclusive community and mental health centers, and schools, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. As an active member of Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA) and National Board of Certified Counselor (NBCC), I stay current with the latest advancements in the field through regular participation in continuing education. I blend Western and Eastern world-views and tailor interventions to each client's unique needs. I invite you to experience the compassionate care and personalized attention that Komorebi Counseling Sevices offers.
