I believe that our personhood is made up of fragmented pieces of ourselves, pieces of ourselves that we love and even pieces of ourselves that we might hate. Through ethical therapy, support, acknowledgement, and ultimately action, we can work with and within those pieces to construct a life that feels meaningful. I am deeply humbled by my existence as counselor and am profoundly honored each time I sit alongside someone. I have experience working with adults and teenagers regarding a variety of topics including stress and anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, phobias, and relational issues. I am here to be an advocate and collaborator of your journey towards better mental health. If you’ve found yourself at the point in which it’s time to reach out to a counselor, know that you are ultimately sowing the seeds of a journey towards a more meaningful life. I look forward to welcoming you at the starting line. I practice specific empirically validated methods of treatment and can explain to you the theoretical orientations that I use. You are entitled to receive information from me about the methods of treatment, the techniques used, and the duration of therapy. Although the exact length of treatment is difficult to predict, I can provide an estimate of the treatment duration; however, needs can change as therapy progresses.
