Welcome to Out of the Blue Counseling! I'm so glad you're here! Your story matters. You matter. My approach to working with clients is based mainly on relational and narrative approaches with a focus on depth work. A narrative model encourages engagement and curiosity about your life story, feelings, and behaviors. A relational model inspires new ways of thinking and relating fostered through the therapeutic relationship. At your pace, we can explore your concerns, dreams, and feelings together. I have specialty training in trauma and abuse, including sexual trauma. The impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect can become debilitating. It is a normal response to something so devastating.
