Are you looking for a way to cope with today’s stress, anxiety, and general feelings of being overwhelmed? Would you like some professional insight? Perhaps you would like a better understanding of yourself, and why you are who you are. Why certain experiences trigger feelings that seem to come from nowhere. I understand loss from an up-close and personal perspective. I was widowed young and know the challenges of being alone and afraid and thrust into a whole new world I never dreamed of living in. I understand the pain that comes with sudden, or traumatic loss. Grief is the price we pay for love, without love, there would be no tears. I have walked beside others as they trusted me with their grief stories. It is a tough journey and it would be my privilege to not let you walk it alone. I also have EMDR training and have worked with complex PTSD, destructive anger, and dual diagnosis clients and human trafficking survivors. I love to work with individuals and couples. I utilize the John Gottman method for couples. My counseling style is personalized to your needs. I like to use a blend of mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. If you are ready to take a courageous action to work through complex emotional experiences, I would love to help you in a non-judgmental and trusted environment, where change is safe and feels attainable. “Use what talents you possess, the woods will be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.” – Henry van Dyke
