Awareness. It is often what is missing when you are feeling overwhelmed, out of control, or trapped by negative patterns in your life. I will work with you to help you grow your awareness, to understand the factors within yourself, others, and the world around you that are contributing to your unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and actions. By collaborating together to reveal these hidden factors, we will bring useful processes and tools into sessions to help you set goals that move you toward greater balance in your life. My personal journey learning to achieve and grow with ADHD strengthens the connection and tools I am able to offer clients who struggle with concentration, memory, and organization. I am an ally for communities who have difficulty finding safe, non-judgmental therapy resources, i.e. concerns with LGBTQ identity, sexual health, and alternative relationships. I emphasize helping you to clearly understand what you need and how to set a path to it. Together we will motivate you toward your goals and greater balance in life. Additional skills I bring into sessions when appropriate include meditation, dream analysis, creative art, transpersonal analysis, socratic dialogue, and positive habit reinforcement.
